Do it Your Way

31/01/2012

This week I'm moving homes. From one place of love and inspiration, to another. Moving is listed as one of the three most stressful experiences in life, and I tend to agree, but not for the same reason others might find it so.

You see, I think we CAP our feelings. We put a lid on stuff that's going on inside, and as long as nothing changes, that cap stays firmly in place. I see it a bit like that CAP they put on the leaking oil well off the coast of the USA last year. Our innate fear is that if the CAP on our real stuff blows off, we may never seal it up again.

Family isn’t always blood.  They’re the people in your life who appreciate having you in theirs – the ones who encourage you to improve in healthy and exciting ways, and who not only embrace who you are now, but also embrace and embody who you want to be.  These people – your real family – are the ones who truly matter.

Here are twenty tips to help you find and foster these special relationships.

On a smaller plate a meal would look larger — and feel more filling. Research suggests that choices, like how much to eat during a meal, are often made subconsciously. Trouble is, our brains are hard-wired to mislead us in lots of little ways, which can have a big impact on our diets.

Inspirations

28/01/2012

I spend a significant proportion of my life working to stay inspired. It's not easy because there a an enormous number of people around who, it seems, want everyone else to be un-inspired. So, on the one hand I don't want to be elitist and say "I'm better than someone" but on the other hand violence, ignorance and fundamentalism are so dangerous, a hype of half truth that is called, mass consciousness. It's hard not to get angry, to accept that everyone on the earth is just a balance to someone. That there's two sides to everything is often tested by reality. See how you go watching this and seeing the balance - remaining inspired and not angry. It's a great example of what I'm talking about... Video is attached.

Perspective

28/01/2012

When I took you on your VIP experience one stage of the process was to step outside the tiny realm of our daily reality and visualise our earth rotating in space. This is to put life on earth in a bigger context than cornflakes, Tv and getting kids off to school. That's a vital part of the VIP process, and done daily for a few seconds, means you really do, connect to your soul, or something bigger than our headspace which is often confined to problem solving.

Health Facts

According to a survey by UK neuromarketing firm Mindlab, what you put in your sandwich says a lot about the kind of person you are:
  • Cheese and picke = high IQ
  • BLT on seeded bread = opportunist
  • Ham salad on white = forward thinker
  • Beef roll = impulsive
  • Egg mayo = quiet homebody
  • Tuna and corn = highflyer
  • Prawns on brown = sensitive soul
  • Chicken and salad wrap = extrovert

EVOLVE

24/01/2012

There are just three things everybody wants:
  1. An Amazing Future
  2. A Great Relationship
  3. A Brilliant Job

All three depend on one single thing: your ability to evolve yourself daily.

Because every day something will challenge all three and if you can evolve through those challenges you expand your life, if you get stuck in them, problem solving, you contract your life.

In Personal Coaching sessions, I share skills for you to expand your expectations and enjoy life more by helping you with your daily evolution. That way, you don't fall behind and get hit by a tsunami.  It's a way of thinking and a lifestyle that really does make a huge difference.

A Brighter Day

24/01/2012

Are you looking for me?
I am in the next seat.
My shoulder is against yours.
You will not find me in stupas,
Not in Indian shrines rooms,
Nor in synagogues, nor in cathedrals:
Not in masses, nor in kirtans, not in legs
Winding around your own neck,
Nor in eating nothing but vegetables.
When you really look for me,
You will see me instantly-
You will find me in the tiniest moment of time.

Zen

23/01/2012

I was walking in the forest after three weeks in Zen. My heart, eyes, ears and soul were awake. Along the path I came across the most magnificent flower, truly it was awesome. I stopped, frozen in my tracks, a perfect moment in time.
