A classic journey tinged with the romance and thrill of being so close to the highest peaks. This journey conjures up images of great challenge and achievement - tinged with the romance and thrill of being so close to the Everest. It offers incredible mountain profile and wonderful insight into the way of hard Sherpa life. I'll take you to special places off the beaten track and you'll meet sherpa friends and high Ringpoche's and nuns I've known for nearly 20 years. P Schedule

General Description
We stay in lodges under the shadow of
the Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Thamaserku peaks in our
journey to (either Gokyo or Everest base camp and Kalapathar); selected
among the world's
top 20 classic Journeys of Lifetime by the Observer, UK. We enjoy good
food and traditional Sherpa hospitality. With time for acclimatisation
rest days on the way up we walk on relaxed pace below the incredible
snow capped peaks, through the beautiful forest and Himalayan Sherpa
settlements. Please note that Dumji festival time is a time when some
lodges close so we may need to adjust our routine to work with the
local people. Also, the date for Dumji can change on short notice so
please be prepared to adjust our trek schedule here and there to work
in with that.
