Trek to The Top of the World and Learn while You Go..

Each year I take two small groups of individuals up to t
he Himalayas of Nepal. We trek up and around the base camp of Mt Everest and visit numerous monasteries, cave dwelling and meditation sites and meet some astonishing people.

This year, 2009, is my 48th trip up into this paradise. The trek is moderately physically challenging and demands a degree of preparation. Most gear is cheap enough in Kathmandu while we certainly recommend certain items for essential personal comfort.

The purpose of the trip is both a journey of self-discovery (we do chats in nature) and an opportunity to rub shoulders (or not quite) with amazing nuns and monks from the highest order.

It's a holiday of a lifetime. You lose weigh, gain insight, let go old stuff and collect a new lease on life. This is the home of natural spirituality and a place where you'll really feel welcome forever.

There are many treks into the Nepal Himalayas, it pays to shop around. This one is a spiritual journey, a learning experience and a chance to work one to one with me on any topic of your choice.

It's an opportunity to train your body. Once you book in, I'll send you a free 90day training schedule that's easy to follow, fun to do and totally guarantees you'll be healthy enough for the trip.

Now, there are safety issues and we have these covered. We use trekking guides from Sherpa Adventure company - highly skilled and certified in mountain rescue. So, with a staff to client ratio of no less than one to one, you're in great hands.

Also, I've been coming here for nearly 25 years. I know the people, places, friends and ways. I can show you where to leave the beaten track and find amazing panorama and natural wildlife.

Up here, there are no jeeps, trucks, cars, motorbikes. Just the occasional helicopter carrying emergency supplies up to Mt Everest and the other 7 peaks in this area over 8,000 meters (there are 15 in the world)

There's lots of time to play with the kids, visit ancient monasteries, meet monks, learn craft, climb up valleys and play. Time to do nothing too.

Limitted to 5 people these treks are not "World Expedition" journeys. They are small, personal and most importantly, flexible.

So, if it's your turn to journey to these mountains and spend time with the ancient Sherpa and Tibetan cultures, then, maybe now is the right time for you.
